Let me just start by saying: Sharon and John are incredible! We had so much fun getting to know them and shooting their engagement session. We shot at the Mellwood Art Center, which is an old industrial building converted to a contemporary art and entertainment center. I think it is so interesting (and I LOVE) how contemporary art combines itself so well with historic and run-down buildings. Sharon is in art school, and they both have a very artsy, urban type of style, so this place immediately came to mind!
Eric and I are really looking forward to their wedding, which is coming up quick!
Enjoy a few favorites from the day...

Heather | Senior Portraits
First off, let me just say how much I loved shooting Heather's senior portraits! She is absolutely gorgeous, and so much fun to work with! Though she denied it early on, I'd believe she is a natural model, or at least watches America's Next Top Model. She was great!
We started out where Heather keeps her horse, and there is this AMAZING old red barn. Dilapidated buildings are always my favorite to shoot with!! From there, we went to a local park. We thought there was a cool waterfall we could use, but when we got there it was nothing but slime (gross!). So we nixed the waterfall idea, but still got some amazing shots against the rocks and the graffiti on the walls.
I truly loved shooting with Heather, and am so excited about the photos we were able to get! It was hard not to post all of them! Congrats on graduating, Heather, and good luck!
